Begin with the entrance rise and the complete route.

The vertical distance from the finished approach to the entry is a critical input, but it is not the full design. The layout must also account for site slope, landing space, door operation, handrails, edge protection and the connection to the rest of the pedestrian route.

Send the building floor plan, entrance elevations and site photos early. A rough footprint can support preliminary planning; final installation requires confirmed dimensions and the applicable project review.

  • Show door swings, thresholds, steps and existing hardscape.
  • Mark usable space, drainage, utilities and other obstructions.
  • Identify the route from the site’s arrival point to the entrance.

Match the layout to the ground conditions.

A straight configuration may work where sufficient space is available. Turning or switchback arrangements may be considered when the site footprint changes the route. Stairs and platforms can be coordinated with the ramp where the approved access plan calls for them.

The system name alone does not establish compliance. Layout, installed slopes, landings, surfaces, building interfaces and the surrounding route must be evaluated together. Konrad will define equipment and installation responsibilities in the quote; required design and authority approvals remain part of the project-specific scope.

Coordinate delivery, installation and recovery.

The access system should be coordinated with building placement, utility work and the planned occupancy date. Changes in the office location or finished grade can change the required components.

If the office moves or the route changes, request a layout review before repositioning components. At closeout, coordinate recovery with the building and the remaining site-access needs.

Can you quote a ramp for one construction trailer?

Yes. A single modular office or focused access requirement is welcome. Send the site location, entry rise, floor plan, photos and intended dates to begin a quote.

Can you tell me the required ramp length from the doorway height?

Entry rise helps establish a preliminary layout, but the full answer also depends on slope, landings, door maneuvering space, site grade and the applicable requirements. Konrad requests the complete entrance and site information before confirming a configuration.

Does renting an ADA ramp automatically make the entrance compliant?

No. Equipment, the installed layout and the connected route must be considered together. Required accessibility, building and authority review should be identified for the specific project.

Do you offer stairs and platforms as well as ramps?

Yes. Modular stairs, platforms and landings can be included in a quote based on the entrance layout and approved access plan. The exact components are confirmed after review.

Can the system be installed on uneven ground?

Ground conditions must be reviewed. Slopes, support requirements and drainage can change the configuration or create a need for preparation. Send site measurements and photographs rather than assuming a standard layout will fit.

Can you work directly with our modular-office provider?

Yes. Konrad can coordinate the access scope with the provider’s building plan and delivery schedule under a defined direct or subcontract arrangement.
